29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: (a) In the B9 Batching Area, on or about June 21, 2017 and at times prior to, the employer allowed an employee who was required to utilize respiratory protection to wear a full face respirator with facial hair that interfered with the seal, exposing the employee to respiratory hazards.
