29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents. A. H & H Construction LP worksite located at 5126 Belfort Drive, Perrysburg, Ohio: On or about June 22, 2017, the employer did not ensure employees were provided with proper eye protection while operating pneumatic nail guns performing framing activities. Two employees were exposed to potential flying object hazards while operating the pneumatic fasteners.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. A. H & H Construction LP worksite located at 5126 Belfort Drive, Perrysburg, Ohio: On or about June 22, 2017, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while installing rafters and sheeting on the two story residential structure. The employees were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 10.00 feet to the lowest level.
