29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about June 13, 2017, and at times prior, Figueroa's Construction LLC, as a controlling employer did not ensure that employees of its subcontractor, Henry Flores, were not exposed to fall hazards while engaged in re-roofing activities. Henry Flores employees were not tied-off while re-roofing a two-story single family residential complex approximately 10-12 feet on the first landing and approximately 19-20 feet on top of the roof. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
