29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, the employer did not report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA. a) On or about June 14, 2017 or prior thereto, employer did not report to OSHA a work-related in-patient hospitalization of a Carpenter within 24 hours of the hospitalization. The injury causing the hospitalization was a leg fracture from a 14 foot fall during residential construction work. NOTE: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
