29 CFR 1926.304(i)(1): Each circular had-fed ripsaw was not guarded by a hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut. On or about June 28, 2017, an employee was exposed to an amputation hazard while ripping wood with an unguarded Dewalt table saw when the employer did not ensure the guard was in place to cover the blade. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
