29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: On or about June 22, 2017, an employee was working from a Werner aluminum pick between two A-Frame Louisville stepladders, and the employer did not ensure that the stepladders were used for the purposes for which they were designed: a. The rear section of the stepladder was not designed for standing and b. The aluminum pick placed between the stepladders obstructed the path of the employee when he ascended and descended the ladder(s).
