29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: a) Dumpster Exit - Employees working near Dumpster Exit which was secured by a slide bolt were exposed to fire hazards from the emergency exit requiring special knowledge to utilize in the case of an emergency, on or about June 28th, 2017. b) French Door - Employees working near French Door which was secured by a dead bolt were exposed to fire hazards from the emergency exit requiring special knowledge to utilize in the case of an emergency, on or about June 28th, 2017. c) LS Parry - Employees working near LS Parry which was wired shut were exposed to fire hazards from the emergency exit requiring special knowledge to utilize in the case of an emergency, on or about June 28th, 2017. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
