29 CFR 1926.451(g)(2): The employer did not provide fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds:  location: front of building on or about: 6/30/17  a) Employees, erecting a bracket scaffold, were not provided with fall protection. The employees were exposed to a fall of up to 14'4".    NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection casefile, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.454(b): The employer did not have each employee involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question.   location: entire site on or about: 6/30/17  a) Employees were erecting a bracket scaffold on the front of building. The employees were not provided with scaffold safety training.    NOTE: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
