29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iii): Internal parts of electrical equipment, including busbars, wiring terminals, insulators, and other surfaces, may not be damaged or contaminated by foreign materials such as paint, plaster, cleaners, abrasives, or corrosive residues: A. On or about July 6, 2017, Trim Saw Area: A junction box at the side of the Irvington Trim Saw was missing a cover, which allowed the accumulation of sawdust in the box near capped energized wires. B. On or about July 6, 2017, Debarking Area: The cover of a 2-receptacle 110V outlet box was displaced, and could allow sawdust to accumulate near the energized wires.

29 CFR 1910.304(g)(6)(vi)(C)(8): Exposed noncurrent-carrying metal parts of portable hand lamp that may become energized was not grounded: A. On or about July 6, 2017, Debarking Area: An ungrounded 2-wire metal-encased clip-on work light was energized and available for use. When turning on the lamp, employees could contact the ungrounded metal parts when activating the toggle switch, exposing them to electric shock hazards.
