The employees were exposed to a fall of approx. 19 ft. to the ground. No fall protection system was utilized. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.452(k)(5): Scaffold platforms were bridged on to another: a) On or about 06/30/17, on the west side of the building at 294 Vermont St., Buffalo, NY: Two employees were standing on the approx. 14 inch wide aluminum "pic" of a ladder jack scaffold while installing the bottom layer of ice shielding, and bringing materials up to the roof. There were 3 support ladders, one 20 ft. long aluminum pic, and one 24 ft. long aluminum pic. The 24 ft. long pic overlapped (bridged) the 20 ft. long pic by about 6 ft. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
