Worksite: The employer did not ensure that the circular hand-fed rip saw that was used by the employee to rip/cut trim boards was guarded with a hood that completely enclosed the portion of the saw above the table.

Worksite: The employer did not ensure that the employee who was working on the residential building under construction was protected from multiple fall hazards above 6 feet by the use of guardrails, safety nets or a personal fall arrest system.    SJS Carpentry, LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1021707, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, issued on 05/11/2015 with respect to a workplace located at 2432 Albany Avenue, West Hartford, CT and became a final order on 06/08/2015.
