29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about July 11, 2017 at a worksite located at 114 North 4th Street, Tomahawk, WI 54487, employees tearing off old roofing material and installing new roof shingles on an existing commercial building were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems when working on a steep roof with unprotected sided and edges that were approximately 10 feet above the ground level.
