29 CFR 1926.501(b)(3): Each employee in a hoist area was not protected from falling 6 feet (1.8m) or more to lower levels by guardrail systems or personal fall arrest systems: a. On or about July 11, 2017, at the above addressed jobsite, employees unloading hot water heaters from the third floor balcony were exposed to falls, approximately twenty two (22) feet two (2) inches, created by the presence of unprotected sides in hoist area, thereby exposing the employees to the hazards associated with falls.
