29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as elsewhere required or permitted by Subpart S of Part 1910, live parts of electric equipment operating  at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures or by any of the means identified in paragraphs (A), (B), (C), and (D) of 29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i).  a) On or about July 10, 2017 or prior thereto: Wolfe Pac Pellets, LLC in Mountain Home, ID did not ensure that live parts of a 480V circuit breaker panel were guarded against accidental contact, exposing employees to electrical hazards. The dead front to the Shaker Waste Auger had been removed as well as restart buttons on doors of other panels.    NOTE: Abatement certification IS required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.305(d)(2): Panelboard enclosures. Panelboards shall be mounted in cabinets, cutout boxes, or enclosures designed for the purpose and shall be dead front. However, panelboards other than the dead front externally-operable type are permitted where accessible only to qualified persons.  (a) On or about July 10, 2017 or prior thereto: Wolfe Pac Pellets, LLC in Mountain Home, ID exposed an employee to electrical hazards when a dead front was removed from a panelboard of a 480V circuit breaker panel to access the Shaker Waste Auger.     NOTE: Abatement certification IS required for this item.
