29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: Construction Site: On or about July 10, 2017, two employees were observed working on a residential roof without utilizing the fall protection equipment they were wearing. Employees did not connect the lanyards to lifelines. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of more than 6-feet to the ground below. Gil Systems was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1135071, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on May 11, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 14705 Alton Oaks, El Paso, TX79938. Gil Systems Roofing & Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1077938, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on December 2, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 14648 Rockbridge, El Paso, TX 79938.
