29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):  One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:      a) Jobsite, 2642 Sawmill Road, Tyrone, PA 16686:  On or about June 13, 2017, the in-feed chute on a Morbark Chip-Pac brand wood chipper (model number 48, serial number 821) was not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operation and to prevent materials from being thrown from the chipper.  The distance between the rim of the in-feed chute and the first cutting knife was approximately 18 inches.  Employees using the machine were exposed to cut-by and struck-by hazards.
