29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) West side of auditorium, on or about 7-19-17: Two employees were working on a flat roof with unprotected sides and edges, and were not protected from falls, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of 17 feet 3 inches. HENDERSON JOHNSON CO, INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OR A SUBSTANTIALLY SIMILAR OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, 1926.501(b)(10), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 568478, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001, ISSUED ON 10-4-12, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 901 EAST MAIN STREET, ITHACA NY, 14850.
