29 CFR 1910.107(c)(6): Electrical wiring and equipment not subject to deposits of combustible residues but located in a spraying area as herein defined were not explosion-proof type approved for     Class I, group D locations and did not otherwise conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part, for Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations:  New Touch Paining, Inc. @ Home Chef, 2200 Lithonia Industrial Boulevard, Lithonia, GA  - In the production area, employees were required to mix and spray flammable and combustible paints to spray paint the ceiling.  Electrical equipment such as, but is not limited to an extension cords, two electrical fans, lights, a radio, electrical outlets, powered industrial vehicles, etc. was located in the spray painting  area. The electrical equipment was not approved for the location.      In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

Employees adjacent to the spray painting were experiencing symptoms to include, but were not limited to difficulty breathing, scratchy throat, watery eyes, vomiting, headaches, fainting and other respiratory problems.
