29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about July 27, 2017, during the installation of rain gutters at the roof edge of a three story residential home located at 1820 West 44th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113, the employer did not ensure he and an employee were protected from fall hazards of approximately 23.8 feet by utilizing a guardrail system, safety new system, and/or other fall protection system or device. A-M Seamless Gutters LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1194903, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on February 3, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1421 Hunter's Chase Drive, Westlake, OH 44145.
