29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v): The safety monitor had other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function: (a) On or about 07/28/17, at the Canal Side Liquors & Wine, located at 67 North Main Street, in Brockport, New York, during a roof repair project; the designated roof monitor was engaged work activities such as moving roofing materials and cleaning roof debris taking attention away from monitoring workers. Employees were working 15 feet above ground level. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
