29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) 5th floor building edge, north side: Two employees were installing steel decking at an unprotected edge of the building, and were exposed to falling about 50 feet from the building edge to ground. Employees were not protected from fall hazards. On or about 07/27/17. b) 4th floor building edge, on a 1-tier-high supported scaffold, north side: Two employees were bolting structural steel from a supported scaffold at an edge of the building, and were exposed to falling about 45 feet from the building edge to ground. Employees were not protected from fall hazards. On or about 07/27/17.
