29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees were not always standing firmly on the floor of the basket of extensible and articulating boom platforms. a) 1529 Rand Road- On July 31, 2017, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling up to approximately 15 feet when climbing to and from the basket of a JLG 600S Boom Lift aerial lift platform while the lift was used as a means of egress to and from the roof of the building. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.
