29 CFR 1910.36(b)(1): At least two exits routes were not available to permit prompt evacuation of employees during an emergency. (a) On or about August 1, 2017, at 151-59 7th Avenue, Whitestone, NY 11357 Employees working management office on the second floor of the main building, and in the ground-level workshop in the adjoining building, had only one exit route, which led to the door underneath the stairs, available to them. A brick wall, covered by a sheetrock, had been erected over a pre-existing doorway, preventing access to the secondary means of exit from the building. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
