OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which is free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to potential fire and explosion hazards of explosive resin dust: a) Grinding Area - The Donaldson Torit dust collection system for the resin dust did not have sufficient air flow to capture the explosive resin dust generated by portable pneumatic sanders and grinders, on or about August 2, 2017.

29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): The floor of each workroom is maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. When wet processes are used, drainage must be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats must be provided: a) Grinding Area Floor - There was combustible resin dust covering the floor where the grinding was done on boat hulls, on or about August 2, 2017. b) Grinding Area Floor - There was combustible resin dust covering the floor underneath the filters, on or about October 20, 2017.
