29 CFR 1926.95(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, were not provided: a. 3731 Blue Ridge Drive, Buford, GA - Employee was exposed to a compactor roll over hazard. The protective equipment such as seat belts installed on a Bomag compactor, with ROPS cage, was not used when necessary for the protection of the operator. The employee did not utilize the restraint system/seat belt housed on the ride-on Bomag compactor when operating the equipment. The Bomag operator's manual indicates "the use of seat belt" when operating the compactor, on or about August 02, 2017.
