29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(ii): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards, based on the mechanical strength and durability, including, for parts designed to enclose and protect other equipment, the adequacy of the protection thus provided.    a. Loadmaster Trailer Company, Ltd. - Port Clinton, OH: On or about August 3, 2017, the durability of the flexible extension power cord, used to power the  weld machine located on the east side of the welding bay, was inadequate for the use.  Sheathing was separated and/or pulled from the parts it was designed to protect, at both the receptacle and plug, exposing employees to electrical hazards.     b. Loadmaster Trailer Company, Ltd Port Clinton, OH: On or about August 3, 2017, the durability of the flexible extension power cord, used to power the weld machine, located in middle of the welding bay, was inadequate for the use.  Sheathing was separated and/or pulled from the parts it was designed to protect at the receptacle end of the cord, exposing employees to electrical hazards.    c. Loadmaster Trailer Company, Ltd. - Port Clinton, OH: On or about August 3, 2017, the durability of the flexible power cord for the airline respirator was inadequate in that sheathing was separated and/or pulled from the parts it was designed to protect at the plug end of the cord, exposing employees to electrical hazards.

Loadmaster Trailer Company, Ltd. - Port Clinton, OH: On or about August 3, 2017, a flexible extension cord used to power the Miller weld machine, located on the east side of the welding bay, was used as a substitute for fixed wiring.  Employees were exposed to electrical hazards in that the flexible cord was not permanently arranged.      b. Loadmaster Trailer Company, Ltd. - Port Clinton, OH: On or about August 3, 2017, a flexible extension cord used to power the Miller weld machine, located in the middle of the welding bay, was used as a substitute for fixed wiring.  Employees were exposed to electrical hazards in that the flexible cord was not permanently arranged.      c. Loadmaster Trailer Company, Ltd. - Port Clinton, OH: On or about August 3, 2017, a flexible extension cord used to power the Miller weld machine, located on the west side of the welding bay, was used as a substitute for fixed wiring.  Employees were exposed to electrical hazards in that flexible cord was not permanently arranged.
