29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Employees were exposed to injury from rotating parts of equipment. This was most recently documented on or about July 20, 2017 at the Regal Beloit America Inc. facility located at 11206 Farm Road 2182 in Cassville, MO. The rotating squirrel cage fan/blower on the blower machine was not covered or guarded adequately to prevent employees fingers and hand from being caught-in the machine.
