State Route 381, Dallas GA: On or about August 4, 2017, the employer exposed employee to struck-by hazards, in that shoring or support for the undermined pavement was not provided to the employees who worked in the excavation.

29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation shall be protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section: a. State Route 381, Dallas GA: On or about August 4, 2017, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that adequate shoring or sloping was not provided for employees working in an excavation approximately 12 feet deep.
