Detachable side protectors (e.g. clip-on or slide-on side shields) meeting the pertinent requirements of this section are acceptable.    a) A+ Engineering and Fabrication, Inc. on or about August 3, 2017. Employees, working on the production floor with a hand held grinder, were exposed to flying material and the employer did not ensure that employees using detachable side protectors on their protective eye wear met the requirements of ANZI Z87.1.
