29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to upper landing surfaces, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladders were used to gain access.  a) Worksite, 261 New York Ave., Long Beach, NY, front of residence- Employee used an A-frame ladder with siderails extended approximately one foot above the landing to access the second level of a residence; on or about 8/4/17.  Note:   Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

Note:   Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
