29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) At the jobsite, on or about 8/9/17: A worker was installing siding onto a residence while standing on the Northern section of the roof without fall protection of any kind. The roof had a 6:12 pitch with a ground to eave height of 10 feet. b) At the jobsite, on or about 8/9/17: A worker was installing waterproof membrane in preparation for siding while standing on the Southern section of the roof without fall protection of any kind. The roof had a 6:12 pitch with a ground to eave height of 10 feet.
