The ladder employees were using to access the roof and ladder jack scaffold was not extended three feet beyond the landing or edge of the roof.

29 CFR 1926.452(k)(5): Scaffold platforms were bridged from one to another. On 7/25/2017, employees working for Paul B. Compton were installing siding on a residential building located at Lot 7 Wilmer Farm Trail, Wentzville, MO. An employee was working from ladder jack scaffolding on the side of the house approximately 21 feet above the ground. The ladder jack scaffolding consisted of two ladders and two platforms. The platforms were bridged together on the center ladder.
