29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: On or about August 11, 2017 at the location 2718 Beltline Road, Sunnyvale, TX, employees using two (2) 24-feet Werner extension ladders that were separated to make four (4) ladders. The ladders did not extend 3-feeet above the landing of the roof and exposing employees to a fall hazard. (a) On or about August 11, 2017 on the North side of the building, two 12-feet ladders did not extend 3-feet above the landing of the roof. (b) On or about August 11, 2017 on the South side of the building, two 12-feet ladders did not extend 3-feet above the landing of the roof.
