29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures. a)Employees engaged in masonry work at a residential construction site worked from a scaffold, were cutting material and mixing cement while exposed to tripping hazards. Used and unused bricks, used cement bags, trash, plywood, cut cement blocks, and nails were observed on the ground throughout the worksite.

29 CFR 1926.300(b)(1): Power operated tool(s), designed to accommodate guards, were not equipped with such guards when in use. Lot 31 - On or about August 11, 2017 at Rosshandler Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024: a) Employer did not ensure that the Spark guard on the DeWalt D28715 Heavy-Duty 14" (355 mm) Chop Saw with Quick-Change Clamp SN: 309191 that protects employees from the spinning blade and possible blowback from the blade breaking was used properly. Employees cut bricks and other material using the unguarded chop saw, exposing employees to hazards including but not limited to amputations and lacerations. a) Employer did not ensure that the guard on the Stone model 655PM Mortar Mixer, Serial number 452006189 was used properly while employees mixed concrete material exposing employees to amputations hazards.
