(a)  On or about July 18, 2017, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not implement policy and/or procedures to enforce the use of protective equipment and/or use of protective clothing such as long pants and sturdy non-slip boots to protect employees from propelled objects and/or potential hearing loss.  when being exposed to materials being ejected from the mowing equipment and from being caught in mowing parts. 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedure, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative:  (a)    On or about July 18, 2017, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not have a written energy control program. Lock out tag out equipment for the maintenance employees was to use at their discretion while performing regular maintenance activities and/or clearing jams on lawn care equipment such as but not limited to, pro-gators, lawn mowers and/or chainsaws.
