29 CFR 1910.29(f)(4): Openings in stair rail systems exceeded 19 inches (48 cm) at its least dimension: a) Main Office Area: On or about August 10, 2017 and times prior, employees used the stairway in the main office hallway to access managers offices and storage areas on the second floor. The stair rail system was not equipped with an intermediate rail resulting in an opening of 29 inches between the top of the riser and bottom of the hand rail.
