29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) At the commercial construction site located at 514 Maple Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64124: Employees were exposed to fall hazards while working on a roof without the use of fall protection. This was demonstrated on 8/9/2017 when five employees were allowed to work from an approximate distance of 30 feet on the highest point to the ground below. TNT was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1151714, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/24/2016, with respect to a workplace located at316 E 46th Terr, Kansas City, MO 64116.
