29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-sloped roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line systems and guardrail systems, warning line systems and safety net systems, or warning line systems and personal fall arrest systems, or warning line systems and safety monitoring systems: At the jobsite located at 812 S. Main St., Pratt, KS 67124 (Stanion Wholesale Electric Co., Inc.): Employee engaged in caulking activities for the leaking roof from a low-slope roof was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from the edge/eave of the structure to the cement below in that fall protection was not utilized. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(2) abatement of the above violation was verified at time of inspection, no certification is required.
