OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a pinch-point hazard. a) On or about August 17, 2017, the employer failed to provide a reasonably safe work environment at the Multi Tech Vertical Injection Press No. 946. The ejectors on the mold were set in a way that permitted a delay between the time that the operator activates a two-hand trip to drop the ejectors into the mold and the time that the ejectors actually drop into the mold creating a pinch-point hazard to the operator.
