29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): Walking-working surfaces were not inspected, regular and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition:  On or about August 17, 2017, employees were exposed to trip and fall hazards when walking along areas with missing floor tiles:   a.  At the Public Assistance hallway area. A 4 1/2 feet in length section of vinyl floor tiles came off and were not replaced.    b. In front of the telecommunications room entrance. Two 12 inches X 12 inches vinyl floor tiles came off and were not replaced.   c. At the female restroom area. Two sections of ceramic floor tiles inside the restroom came off and were not replaced, one section in front of the toilet entrance was covered with a 12 inches X 12 inches piece of carpet.      NOTE:  Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
