29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): All traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (AMUTCD"), 1988 Edition, Revision 3, September 3, 1993, FHWA-SA-94-027 or Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millennium Edition, December 2000, FHWA:    (a)  WS Barricade, at the intersection of E. Asbury Ave. and S. Broadway Blvd., Denver, CO 80204:  On and before August 17, 2017, the employer did not ensure that all traffic control signs and devices used for the protection of construction workers conformed to the MUTCD.  Road construction was being conducted at the intersection of E. Asbury Ave. and South Broadway Blvd..  The employer did not post advanced warning signs for motorist traveling westbound on E. Asbury Ave. approaching South Broadway Blvd. to warn motorist that road construction was taking place.  In addition,  there were no advance warning signs that flaggers were working ahead and directing traffic.  This condition exposed the flaggers and road construction employees to the hazard of being struck by motorists.
