29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about July 19, 2017, and at times prior, the exposing employer, A Villa Carpenters, Inc., did not ensure employees, who were required to engage in re-roofing operations on a residential apartment complex, were protected from exposure to fall hazards of 30 feet and greater. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet"). A Villa Carpenters, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1068409, citation 1, item 1a, and became a final order on November 20, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 2975 Huron St, Denver, CO 80202.
