29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached) where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening is 6 feet or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches above the walking/working surface, was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. Southwest 3rd Floor Window - Employees were not protected from a fall of approximately 30 feet by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. H.E. Callahan Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.502(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1161786, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/16/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 145 Harlow Street, Bangor Maine.
