Spanish Fort, Alabama:  On or about August 17, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to operate pneumatic nail guns while framing a house and the employees were not using eye protection exposing his employees to struck-by hazards.

Spanish Fort, Alabama:  On or about August 17, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform framing activities while standing on the trusses without fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of up t0 to 21 feet 1 inch to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:   a)  At 11838 Lodgepole Ct. Spanish Fort, Alabama:  On or about August 17, 2017 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use an extension ladder to gain access to the trusses and the rails of the ladder did not extend at least three feet above the landing to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of up to 12 feet 8 inches to the ground below.
