29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, and service rooms shall be kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition. On or about 24 August 2017, employees were exposed to slip and fall hazards in the generator room due to an accumulation of oil on the floor. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d). The MAPEI Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1185908, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/14/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 530 Industrial Dr. West Chicago, IL. 60185.
