29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) 3212 Jenks Avenue, Panama City FL; On or about August 23, 2017 and at times prior thereto the controlling employer Global Framing, Inc. failed to ensure that its sub-contractor Jaime Fernandez protected its employees from struck-by hazards in that employees were allowed to use pneumatic nail guns without requiring employees to wear eye protection.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 3212 Jenks Avenue, Panama City FL; On or about August 23, 2017 and at times prior thereto the controlling employer Global Framing, Inc. failed to ensure that its sub-contractor Jaime Fernandez protected its employees from fall hazards in that employees were allowed to work on a roof that was 9 feet above the ground and the roof was sloped 6 on 12 without being protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Global Framing, Inc. aka South Georgia Framers, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 975990, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 7, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 115 Greensboro Avenue, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
