29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): The employer did not prohibit a tight-fitting facepiece to be worn by employees who had facial hair that comes between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face: a) On the mezzanine's roof: One employee had facial hair that interfered with the face seal as he wore a tight-fighting half-face negative pressure respirator during asbestos abatement work. Condition noted on or about 09/12/17. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000 AS PER CFR 1903.19.
