29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 200 Federal Road, Monroe Township, NJ: Employees engaged in commercial construction were exposed to fall hazards while installing sheathing on the pitched roof without the use of an adequate fall protection system. The employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet. This hazard was observed on 8/26/17.
