29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. Location: 66 Beachside Avenue, Westport, CT 06880 Each employee using portable ladders in the course of their job duties and assignments was provided with an effective training program to recognize hazards related to portable ladders and procedures to minimize and/or eliminate hazards. On or about August 28, 2017, an employee while utilizing a 20 foot ladder to access the side the house to install insulation sustained an approximately 15 foot fall to the ground resulting in serious injuries requiring medical attention at a medical facility (hospital).
