29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. 2655 Richmond Ave., Staten Island, NY - Staten Island Mall Employees engaged in commercial construction activities were not protected from falls. Carpenters, engaged in the installation of the forms for the second level curbs were observed working at the edge without the use of a safety net system or a personal fall arrest system. Violation observed on or about August 29, 2017
